Pirate Ship is seeking a Paralegal to join our remote-first crew. You will assist the General Counsel with contract drafting and review, IP management, compliance, and corporate governance in a fast-paced tech environment.

Responsibilities include preparing and revising contracts, maintaining document systems, performing legal research, and supporting cross-functional teams. Travel internationally and domestically is expected on a quarterly basis; compensation includes a base salary and bonus.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a technology company or law firm.
• Exposure to intellectual property, contracts, and corporate law.
• Proficient in legal document drafting and review.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with the technology industry and related legal issues.
• Paralegal will be required to travel internationally and domestically on quarterly business meetings.

Responsabilités

• Assist the General Counsel in managing all legal matters, including contract drafting and reviewing, IP management, compliance and governance.
• Prepare, review, and revise contracts, and maintain an organized document system for timely obligations.
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis on regulatory, IP, and commercial topics.
• Assist in managing the company’s IP portfolio and coordinate with external counsel.
• Support corporate governance and compliance programs and cross-functional coordination.
