Pirate Ship is seeking a Paralegal (First Mate of Legal Affairs) to support the General Counsel in contracts, IP, compliance, and governance for a tech company. This remote-first role offers competitive pay, strong benefits, and opportunities to work with a dynamic, creative crew.

The successful candidate will draft and review legal documents, manage the document system, perform legal research, and support governance and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• 2–5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a tech company or law firm
• Exposure to intellectual property, contracts, and corporate law
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and legal research tools / project management tools

• Keep Our Documents Shipshape: prepare, review, and revise contracts and other legal documents; maintain organized document management for timely compliance.
• Scout the Legal Horizon: perform extensive legal research on regulatory compliance, IP, and commercial law; monitor legislative changes affecting the company.
