Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) is seeking a Paralegal to provide high-level legal support to the General Counsel Unit in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves research, drafting, record verification, and assisting attorneys with administrative hearings and decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or closely related field; preferred paralegal certificate.
• Paralegal certifications (ALP/PLS/CLP/PP) are preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a legal environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with research, drafting, and verification of records.
• Maintain up-to-date records of motions, orders, and hearings; generate reports.
• Track and manage Director's Decisions and Final Decisions in the hearing-tracking system.
• Support attorneys and staff, and manage confidential information.
• Maintain agency calendar for administrative hearings.
