Job summary

Atrius Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care within a remote Palliative Care setting. You will follow RN protocols, administer medications, and coordinate care with the clinical team while maintaining EMR documentation.

The role requires a MA nursing license, BLS, and a track record in high-quality patient care, with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing education in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Up to date with current standards of nursing care in Specialty.
• Computer experience with word processing and spreadsheets.
• EMR experience and/or aptitude to master the EMR-based on other technology experience.

Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic and supportive relationships with patients and families, providing education and managing care transitions
• Deliver patient care and follow‑up in alignment with RN protocols, including medication administration and chronic disease management
• Conduct telephone triage, escalated concerns appropriately, and support the clinical team with ongoing care coordination
• Perform clinical procedures and manage acute conditions during patient visits, ensuring timely documentation in the EMR
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, mentor nursing staff, and uphold high standards of patient service and safety
