Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Registered Nurse for remote care within the Palliative Care department in eastern Massachusetts. This full-time role supports patient management and care coordination across care settings.

Responsibilities include education, medications, telephone triage, EMR documentation, and contributing to quality improvement. Requires MA RN license, BLS, and EMR experience; competitive benefits and strong teamwork are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted Massachusetts nursing license.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• Up to date with current standards of nursing care in the specialty.
• Computer experience with word processing and spreadsheets.
• EMR experience and/or aptitude to learn EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic and supportive relationships with patients and families, including education and care transitions.
• Deliver patient care and follow RN protocols, including medications and chronic disease management.
• Conduct telephone triage and escalation of concerns; support care coordination.
• Perform clinical procedures and manage acute conditions during visits with timely EMR documentation.
• Contribute to quality improvement and mentor nursing staff, maintaining high patient service and safety.
