Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta campaigns, strategy, messaging, and testing.

You will lead client conversations, manage campaigns end-to-end, and develop direct-response copy and VSL scripts for high-net-worth financial audiences. You will report to the Associate Director of Operations and be accountable for performance, relationships, and retention, while collaborating with video editors and leveraging AI tools to speed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to meet performance targets while supporting retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills for ads and scripts.
• Experience developing/testing creative concepts and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and act as primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls on performance, strategy, and testing priorities.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports before calls.
• Translate data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build relationships to support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns for lead gen and appointments.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and testing.
• Monitor performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and optimize funnel performance.
• Develop testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and VSL scripts for financial audiences.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide creative direction.
• Use AI to accelerate research while maintaining quality.
