Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, creative testing, and client communication.

You’ll manage a portfolio of accounts end-to-end, focusing on Meta campaigns, lead generation, and high-value appointments. Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations, you’ll craft direct-response copy, testing strategies, and data-driven recommendations to improve funnel performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience, with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to hit targets while supporting client retention.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic point of contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointments.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing.
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video scripts for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks and messaging variations for testing.
• Use performance data to generate new creative hypotheses and direction.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality.
