Job summary

Conner Industries, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Sales Representative to grow our regional business in pallet, container and protective packaging solutions. The role involves prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating proposals, closing deals, and managing ongoing accounts across the U.S.

with up to 50% regional travel. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in related packaging sales, a strong track record of meeting quotas, and excellent presentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pallet, container, protective packaging, or 3PL sales.
• Travel up to 50% regionally, with occasional overnight travel.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Coursework in business-related fields is a plus.
• Experience in complex manufacturing and service-based sales is advantageous.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong proficiency in presentations and computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of the sales process from prospecting to closing and account management.
• Develop and negotiate customized pricing contracts for clients.
• Maintain robust sales pipeline and use CRM to track opportunities.
• Oversee customer journey from onboarding to production cycle for a seamless experience.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to drive business success.
