Job summary

Main Line Risk Management, a US-based agency, seeks an experienced Licensed Customer Service Representative to manage day-to-day client needs for a personal lines book, with potential involvement in select small commercial accounts. The role emphasizes proactive coverage reviews and clear client communication.

Applicants must hold an active PA P&C license and have 1+ year of insurance experience. East Coast on EST is required, with a possible work-from-home arrangement and a Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license required
• 1+ years of insurance experience with an independent agency, brokerage, or insurance carrier
• Solid working knowledge of personal lines insurance (auto/home/umbrella)
• Experience with agency management systems; Applied Epic preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and dependable with strong follow-through
• Able to manage multiple client needs and deadlines without constant direction
• Willingness to learn new technology and carrier systems
• Experience with small commercial insurance (BOP, GL, workers' comp, or commercial auto) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client requests by phone, email, and text (policy changes, ID cards, billing questions, coverage questions, mortgagee changes) and other service needs
• Process endorsements for personal auto, home, umbrella, valuables, and related policies
• Review renewals and proactively identify coverage concerns, missing discounts, and opportunities to better protect clients
• Explain premium increases, deductibles, coverage options, and carrier requirements in plain language
• Remarket accounts using carrier portals and rate comparison tools
• Prepare and present renewal options and help clients make informed coverage decisions
• Issue certificates of insurance, evidence of property insurance, and auto ID cards
• Maintain accurate notes and documentation in Applied Epic
• Coordinate with carrier underwriters to resolve eligibility questions and account issues
• Identify opportunities for additional coverage and refer sales opportunities to producers
• Provide occasional support with new-business quoting and select small commercial accounts
