Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a National Dispatcher with deep dispatch operations expertise to oversee the full lifecycle of fleet repairs and maintenance. This national role coordinates across multiple markets, requiring strong judgment, industry knowledge, and effective cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a dispatching, service scheduling, or logistics coordination role.
• Working knowledge of fleet maintenance operations, trucking industry standards, and transportation logistics

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service events and dispatch technicians to ensure timely maintenance.
• Manage lifecycle of preventive maintenance, towing, and unscheduled service events from start to finish.
• Assign work with attention to KPI targets and optimize for cost and time.
• Audit open work requests across markets to ensure daily updates and compliance.
• Monitor events, estimate arrival times, and communicate delays or service concerns to customers and leadership.
• Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced dispatch teammates.
