Job summary

Holland & Sherry is seeking an Outside Sales Specialist to join our team remotely in San Jose. This role offers growth, career development, and autonomy, with travel across the assigned territory to meet clients and present our luxury textiles.

You will build client relationships, develop market knowledge, and drive sales by presenting Holland & Sherry lines while maintaining a robust sales pipeline and collaborating with Customer Service and Product Managers.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of sales experience.
• Self-directed, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and professional, punctual nature.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn CRM systems.
• Comfortable packing, carrying, and transporting samples frequently.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to pursue and manage outside sales independently.

Responsibilities

• Research and establish new client relationships while cultivating existing relationships within the design industry.
• Develop thorough industry and product knowledge.
• Drive sales by presenting Holland & Sherry and represented lines.
• Produce and regularly update target client lists, sales goals, and strategic outreach plans.
• Promptly follow up on all client inquiries.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Product Managers to ensure accurate communication and support.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to present products and meet with clients.
• Utilize entrepreneurial thinking to identify new business opportunities and take ownership of building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
