Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our Platt team in Salt Lake City, UT. This remote-friendly, full-time role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales, and expanding market presence in the electrical and related product lines.

You will communicate product benefits, collaborate with suppliers, and provide tailored solutions to meet customer objectives while traveling to offsite locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products; communicate features and benefits.
• Increase sales by acquiring new customers and selling additional products to existing customers.
• Collaborate with leadership and suppliers to plan sales strategies and develop new markets.
• Assist customers with product selection and application using internal experts and supplier reps.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Analyze customer operations to tailor unique solutions to their objectives.
• Coordinate sales calls with vendors to identify needs and present solutions.
• Maintain timely records of sales calls and expenses.
• Travel to offsite locations to engage with customers and close deals.
