Job summary

WAUSAU TILE LLC is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to manage the Northern California and Reno territory in a remote, contractor capacity. You will sell the company's interior and exterior product lines to design and construction professionals, building strong relationships and driving revenue on a nationwide scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of outside sales experience in building materials or related industries.
• 5+ years of experience in construction-related products or services.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Willingness to travel daily within the territory with occasional overnight stays.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales revenue by acquiring new accounts and expanding relationships.
• Represent Wausau Tile's product portfolio to architects and contractors.
• Generate qualified leads and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Understand client needs and present tailored product solutions.
• Manage proposals, negotiations, and order logistics end-to-end.
• Provide post-sale support and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use Salesforce to track opportunities and report activity.
