Job summary

Rainier Recruiting is recruiting an experienced Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow accounts throughout the Northeast region. This remote role offers significant autonomy to develop new business, deepen relationships with decision-makers, and present customized solutions to fit customer needs.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in outside sales, comfort traveling, and a track record of consultative selling in industrial or power infrastructure markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience.
• Experience selling into industrial, utility, telecommunications, infrastructure markets.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
• Strong presentation, relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
• Self-starter capable of managing a large territory independently.
• Comfortable working remotely and traveling throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at existing and prospective accounts.
• Identify opportunities to expand business within current customers while cultivating new accounts.
• Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, lunch-and-learns, and technical presentations.
• Develop customized solutions based on customer needs and operational requirements.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales documentation.
• Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and activity tracking.
