Job summary

MSM (Northern Safety) in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow the customer base across the defined sales region. The role combines direct face-to-face visits with remote calls, leveraging consultative selling to promote Northern Safety's catalog products and service existing accounts.

You will travel within the territory, build relationships, coordinate with customer service and inside sales, and use CRM to track opportunities and quotes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college.
• One to three years selling experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to be organized and thorough.
• The ability to be a self-starter, objective, assertive in their work.

Responsibilities

• Travel the defined territory to grow business through direct face to face contact with customer base.
• Builds customer relationships through consultative selling techniques, soliciting orders and/or talking with customers via phone and virtual meeting place technology.
• Work with customer service and branch location to develop new business.
• Work with inside sales representatives to establish contact for customers to place orders, delivery schedule and obtain pricing information.
• Quote prices on products and determines if a customer would fit into a volume purchase program.
