Job summary

Talkiatry is a virtual outpatient mental health practice delivering evidence-based care with robust clinician support. This role targets independently licensed therapists in a fully remote outpatient setting, focusing on predictable compensation, comprehensive benefits, and minimal administrative burden.

You will manage a consistent outpatient caseload with defined goals while benefiting from in-house scheduling, billing, credentialing, and licensing support.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or equivalent)
• Active, unrestricted license (multi-state licensing support available)
• Two or more independent and active state licenses (except for CA, NY and MA)
• Comfort managing a consistent outpatient caseload
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and independent decision-making
• Comfort practicing in a fast-paced but sustainable outpatient environment
• Experience from outpatient, community mental health, hospital, IOP, or other structured clinical settings
• Experience with structured, skills-based modalities (e.g. CBT, ACT, MI, DBT-informed care)
• Not designed for supervision toward licensure or building a private practice; join our team

Responsibilities

• 100% remote, outpatient therapy
• Lower to moderate acuity populations (e.g. anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD)
• Standard session lengths (60-minute intakes and follow-ups)
• Consistent outpatient caseload with defined, transparent goals
• No inpatient, IOP/PHP, or crisis-call responsibilities
• In-house referral network to/from psychiatrists
• Full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, credentialing, and licensing
