Datavant is hiring experienced outpatient coders to join our remote team, focusing on accurate diagnoses and procedure coding across specialties. This role emphasizes precision in CPT/ICD coding,與 precertification reviews and HIPAA compliance, with a flexible schedule.

Ideal candidates have AHIMA or AAPC credentials, plus Interventional Radiology experience, EPIC and 3M/Solventum proficiency, and a customer-service mindset suitable for a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• AHIMA credentials (RHIA/RHIT/CCS) or AAPC credentials (CPC/CPC-H/COC/CIC/CRC).
• Experience in Interventional Radiology.
• 2+ years of coding in hospital or coding consulting role.
• Proficiency in Coding: Same Day Surgery, Observation, Injections/Infusions, E/M leveling.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Sequence codes based on documentation.
• Assign discharge dispositions.
• Abstract and enter coded data for reporting requirements.
• Communicate coding issues to relevant personnel for follow-up.
