Job summary

Datavant is seeking seasoned outpatient coders for a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hospital coding experience, expertise in Interventional Radiology, and RHIA/RHIT/CCS or CPC credentials. Proficiency with EPIC and 3M/Solventum is required.

Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC credentials required or active.
• 2+ years coding experience in hospital or coding consulting.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology and preref/authorization coding.
• Proficiency with EPIC and 3M/Solventum.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Assign and sequence codes based on documentation.
• Enter coded data for hospital statistics and reporting.
• Maintain high coding accuracy and productivity standards.
• Communicate coding issues to relevant teams for resolution.
• Track continuing education credits to maintain credentials.
• Attend Datavant Health sponsored education meetings.
• Maintain professional, customer-service focused behavior.
