Datavant is seeking experienced outpatient coders for a fully remote role with a flexible schedule. You will review medical records, assign diagnoses and procedures, and ensure accurate coding with AHIMA/AAPC credentials.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hospital coding experience, with proficiency in observation, injections/infusions, and related specialties. Strong written and verbal communication and remote-work discipline are essential.

Competenze

• AHIMA or AAPC certification required.
• 2+ years of hospital coding experience.
• Experience with observation, injections/infusions, and same-day surgery coding.

Mansioni

• Review medical records and assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Assign and sequence codes based on documentation.
• Assign discharge disposition and abstract data for reporting.
• Maintain 95% coding accuracy and productivity standards.
• Communicate coding issues to relevant staff and participate in training.
