Humana is seeking an experienced Outpatient Behavioral Health Coding Auditor to handle disputes on the Disputes Team. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in CPT/HCPCS coding decisions.

The position is remote with occasional travel to Humana offices. You will work with coding professionals across departments to ensure high-quality dispute outcomes and adherence to HIPAA and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Required: CPC or CCS Certification.
• Required: CPT/HCPCS auditing experience.
• 1+ years' experience reading Behavioral Health claims.
• 3+ years' experience performing Behavioral Health coding audits and disputes.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead outpatient Behavioral Health coding disputes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate dispute outcomes to providers clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities.
• Follow industry guidelines and best practices for coding audits.
