Job summary

Humana is seeking an experienced Outpatient Behavioral Health Coding Auditor to handle provider disputes in a results-driven, metrics-focused environment. This remote role (home/hybrid) supports the Disputes Team and focuses on Behavioral Health coding disputes with CPT/HCPCS assignments.

You will work with coding professionals across departments to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant dispute outcomes. Strong communication and auditing expertise are required to succeed in this fast-paced,

Qualifications

• CPC or CCS certification is required.
• CPT/HCPCS auditing experience is required.
• 1+ years' experience reading Behavioral Health claims.
• 3+ years' experience performing Behavioral Health coding audits and handling disputes.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Audit outpatient Behavioral Health coding disputes for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate dispute outcomes to providers professionally and concisely.
• Collaborate with coding professionals across departments to ensure timely, compliant results.
• Manage multiple priorities to complete disputes in a timely manner.
