Job summary

SOLV Energy, a national provider of solar, storage, and substation infrastructure, seeks a seasoned project manager for its OTS organization. This remote role moves awarded projects through Pre-Construction and sets up CMiC workflows, collaborating with design, procurement, and EPC teams to ensure smooth handoffs and accurate budgets.

The role emphasizes budget control, schedule discipline, and continuous process improvement across multidisciplinary teams while supporting nationwide projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience.
• 2+ years PV solar industry experience.
• General knowledge of SCADA/OT system design, setup, commissioning and support.
• Experience with cost budget management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with schedule software including Oracle P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Power BI).
• Experience using task management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee OTS EPC projects during the pre-construction phase, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain OTS Pre-Construction Tracker.
• Act as main POC to EPC Pre-Con on all incoming projects.
• Attend BD to Pre-Con handoff calls.
• Confirm initial project budgets and communicate with stakeholders.
• Identify and manage cost changes during pre-construction phase.
• Generate job start forms/setting projects up in CMiC.
• Collaborate with design team in kicking off design within project schedules.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to draft project BOM.
• Manage the execution of vendor subcontracts considering project schedule constraints.
• Collaborate with EPC Pre-Con in processing SOLV-to-SOLV Agreements.
• Track and review SOW exhibits.
• Work with Manager, OTS Project Development and other Managers to assign appropriate project resources.
• Review and update project schedules.
• Participate in financial/month end reporting for projects during pre-construction phase.
• Set up and host thorough project handoffs from OTS Pre-Con to OTS PMs.
• Collaborate with EPC teams to process and import full project budgets into CMiC.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement and look for opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
