Job summary

Cable One is seeking an OSP Designer II to create cost-effective broadband system designs that meet standards. The role involves CAD/GIS design work, coordination with Technical Operations, Construction, and Engineering, and maintaining design/digitizing standards.

Remote work options exist for qualified candidates in specified states. Responsibilities include drafting, reading walkouts, updating as-builts, and delivering complete design packets in a timely manner, with opportunities to learn

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 5+ years related experience preferred.
• GIS applications like ESRI and Schneider design software following Cable One standards.

Responsibilities

• Design new and existing HFC plant extensions.
• Perform base drafting.
• Read walkout information accurately.
• Update as-builts as construction is completed and releases the area.
• Provide complete construction build packet with full design deliverables.
