Job summary

A recruitment partner seeks a Remote OS&D Manager to oversee processes related to overages, shortages, and damaged freight. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in transportation operations, logistics, or claims management, preferably in LTL or TL freight.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily OS&D reporting and ensure accurate documentation of all discrepancies across terminals.
• Identify root causes for overages, shortages, and damaged shipments, and coordinate resolution efforts.
• Work with claims, operations, and customer service to resolve OS&D incidents efficiently and prevent recurrence.
• Track OS&D reports, identify patterns, and recommend process improvements to reduce losses and improve service quality.
• Educate terminal and operational teams on OS&D procedures, reporting standards, and proper documentation practices.
• Ensure OS&D processes comply with company policies, DOT/FMCSA regulations, and industry best practices.
