Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking an OS&D Clerk to inspect shipments, validate claims, and work with claimants to determine root causes of damage or shortages. The role supports OD’s family culture and fast-paced environment.

The position requires attention to detail, basic office experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Hazmat experience is a plus. This full-time role offers benefits and growth opportunities at our Oregon service center.

Responsibilities

• Inspect shipments to validate OS&D claims and determine resolutions
• Identify overages, shortages and damaged freight and research root causes
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Handle Hazmat freight with proper care and documentation
• Prepare OS&D paperwork and repackaging as needed
• Maintain accurate OS&D records daily and weekly
• Assist with answering calls and provide superior service
