Qualifications

• CPC certification required and maintained annually.

• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and modifiers.
• Experience with Epic and denials workflow.

Responsibilities

• Assigns accurate diagnostic and procedure codes for outpatient hospital professional accounts.
• Assigns CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Monitors work queues to ensure timely coding.
• Generates coding queries for clarification.
• Keeps up to date with coding changes.
• Handle high workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
