Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated Coder to join our remote team. You will review medical records and assign ICD-10 and CPT codes in line with policy, ensuring accurate billing and adherence to regulations.

This full-time, remote role supports clinical staff and providers, providing coding education and maintaining clear communication about documentation and coding standards to promote compliance and accuracy across our practice.

Formación

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• CCS-P or CPC certification.
• Experience with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC coding standards.

Responsabilidades

• Abstracts data and assigns ICD-10 diagnosis and CPT procedure codes in compliance with policies.
• Uses PMS and hospital records to ensure accurate demographics and coding for procedures.
• Coordinates with physicians to obtain documentation needed for accurate billing.
• Educates clinical staff on documentation and coding standards to promote compliance.
• Maintains communication with providers regarding coding issues.
