Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Oracle/PeopleSoft Database Administrator to join their IT team. You will play a vital role in designing and optimizing the PeopleSoft database for our enterprise HR systems. The position is fully remote for residents in multiple states including Louisiana.

Key responsibilities include database installation, performance monitoring, security policy enforcement, and disaster recovery planning. A minimum of 5 years of DBA experience and a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong expertise in performance tuning, capacity planning, and system optimization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database software across AWS RDS environments.
• Ensure database availability, integrity, and reliability through automated monitoring.
• Troubleshoot database issues including slow queries and locks.
