Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Oracle/PeopleSoft Database Administrator to enhance its IT team. This fully remote position involves responsibilities in designing, implementing, and optimizing the PeopleSoft database for our enterprise human resource system. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree, significant DBA experience, and possess a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as an Oracle DBA with comprehensive Oracle database knowledge.
• Experience in performance tuning, capacity planning, and database optimization.
• Possession of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure database availability and integrity through automated monitoring.
• Develop and implement robust backup strategies including RMAN and cross-region backups.
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripting and Python.
