Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a motivated Oracle/PeopleSoft Database Administrator to enhance our IT team. This fully remote role is open to residents in various states including Oregon. You will play a vital role in optimizing the PeopleSoft database, ensuring its availability, and carrying out advanced tasks such as SQL tuning and automation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in IT or related fields, several years of DBA experience, and a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance. Join us to contribute to impactful projects while enjoying a flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with in-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture.
• Experience working with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, OCI, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database software across AWS RDS environments.
• Ensure database availability, integrity, and reliability through automated monitoring.
• Develop and implement robust backup strategies.
