Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the functional design, implementation, and success of our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) General Ledger and core financial modules. The role is remote with travel and will support a key program, including design of a scalable Chart of Accounts and leadership across technical teams.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in Oracle EBS, strong COA and SLA expertise, and experience leading two full lifecycle implementations. U.S.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise in Oracle EBS GL and COA design.
• Experience leading two full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials deployments.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, FA within EBS.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent required.
• US Citizen with active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the GL, SLA, and related financial modules implementation.
• Design and maintain COA to support scalability.
• Translate business needs into functional specs; lead discovery workshops.
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, and analysts to meet timelines.
• Assess configurations for security and performance.
