Job summary

SMX seeks an accomplished Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the functional design, implementation, and success of Oracle E-Business Suite GL and core financial modules. Lead COA design and ensure integration with other enterprise systems while guiding stakeholders and technical teams.

The role requires 12+ years in Oracle EBS implementations, active US citizenship with a Public Trust clearance, and willingness to travel as it is remote with some travel.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise in Oracle EBS GL/COA design and SLA.
• Lead functional roles in two+ full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations.
• Experience with AP, AR, and FA modules within Oracle EBS.
• Strong understanding of RICEW components from a functional perspective.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle EBS GL and SLA.
• Design, implement, and maintain COA to support scalability.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams; lead workshops.
• Create and oversee functional architecture for Oracle EBS financial solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers and analysts to ensure timely delivery.
• Assess configurations and ensure scalability and security of the financial system.
