Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the functional design, implementation, and success of our Oracle E-Business Suite GL and core financial modules.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Oracle Financials, responsible for analyzing complex business needs, designing a robust Chart of Accounts (COA), and ensuring the GL architecture supports the program's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise in implementing and leading Oracle EBS GL (R12)
• Experience as functional lead on at least two full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations
• Extensive experience with AP, AR, and Fixed Assets in Oracle EBS
• Strong understanding of Oracle RICEW components from a functional design perspective

Responsibilities

• Lead GL/Financials architecture and chart of accounts design
• Drive discovery workshops translating business needs into functional specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to meet timelines and quality
• Assess current configurations and ensure scalability and security of the solution
