Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the functional design, implementation, and success of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) GL and core financial modules. The role requires expert knowledge of COA design and SLA, and leads multiple full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials initiatives across AP, AR, and FA.

The position is remote with travel, supporting a key program at Lackland, TX, and requiring US citizenship with a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and leading Oracle EBS GL with COA design and SLA.
Leads two full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations with requirements, design, configuration, and testing.
Broad Oracle EBS Financials experience (AP, AR, FA).
Understanding of RICEW components from a functional design perspective.
Ability to translate complex business processes into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

GL/Financials Leadership as SME for Oracle GL and SLA.
Lead COA design, implementation, and maintenance for scalability.
Serve as liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, guiding discovery and specifications.
Design functional architecture for Oracle EBS financial solutions and ensure integration.
Collaborate with PMs, developers, and BAs to meet timelines and quality.
Assess configurations and ensure scalability, security of the solution.
