Job summary

SMX is seeking an Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the GL design and implementation within Oracle EBS Financials. The role involves leading COA design, SLA, and integration work for a major program with travel requirements.

The candidate will be a subject matter expert, possess 12+ years in Oracle EBS, and hold US citizenship with a Public Trust clearance. This is a remote role with some travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle EBS GL/R12 with COA and SLA.
• Led at least two full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations.
• Experience with AP, AR, and FA in Oracle EBS.
• US Citizenship with an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle GL/Financials leadership for the program.
• Design, implement, and maintain COA.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specs; liaison with stakeholders.
• Oversee functional architecture for Oracle EBS financial solutions.
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, and BAs to meet timelines and quality.
• Assess configurations for scalability and security.
