Job summary

SMX is seeking an Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the functional design and implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite GL and core financial modules, with expert COA design. You will ensure the GL architecture aligns with program goals and supports scalable financial processes.

This remote role requires some travel to support a key program from Lackland, TX. US citizenship and an active Public Trust clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise in Oracle EBS R12 GL, COA design, and SLA.
• Experience as functional lead on at least two full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations.
• Experience with AP, AR, and FA within Oracle EBS Financials.

Responsibilities

• Lead GL/Financials architecture and design, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Design, implement, and maintain Chart of Accounts (COA) for scalability.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and lead discovery workshops.
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, and BAs to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Assess and optimize existing financial configurations for security and scalability.
