Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the functional design, implementation, and success of our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) General Ledger and related financial modules. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Oracle Financials, responsible for analyzing complex business needs, designing a robust COA, and ensuring the GL architecture supports the program's goals.

This role supports a key program at Lackland, TX with remote work and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12+ years’ of progressive experience in Oracle EBS implementations.
• US Citizen with an active Public Trust clearance.
• Hands-on expertise in implementing Oracle EBS R12 GL, COA design, and SLA.

Responsibilities

• Lead GL, SLA, and related financial modules design and implementation.
• Design, implement, and maintain the Chart of Accounts (COA).
• Lead discovery workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Create functional architecture for Oracle EBS financial solutions and ensure integration.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to meet timelines.
• Assess configurations for scalability and security of the solution.
