Job summary

System One is seeking an Oracle DBA to support critical consular applications from a remote location with occasional onsite meetings in the Washington, DC area. A SECRET clearance is required to support the mission and requirements include the ability to obtain TOP SECRET in the future.

The role emphasizes full lifecycle Oracle database administration, security, and performance tuning for multiple DBMS, including RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN, with leadership responsibilities and strong

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance.
• Hands-on Oracle 19c RDBMS and GoldenGate experience.
• Experience upgrading Oracle 11g/12c to 19c and TD encryption.
• Experience writing custom monitoring reports for 12c OEM.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operation and physical design of databases.
• Performance tuning of indexes and databases.
• Manage security controls; day-to-day enterprise hygiene and CVE remediation.
• Oversee backups, replication, and disaster recovery across DBMS.
• Develop stored procedures and enforce database standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with designers and analysts on SQL and web-based databases.
• Review designs, docs, and generate high-level Oracle OEM BI reports.
