Qualifications

• US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• 2+ years within the last five years in database engineering/administration.
• Experience with Oracle DB administration and replication technologies.
• Experience implementing and maintaining database security.
• Experience conducting database performance tuning and monitoring.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving database problems/issues.
• Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software.
• Experience with PL/SQL.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests.
• Perform system updates and IAVA patching.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Modify existing database scripts and create new ones for recurring issues.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests.
• Implement and maintain database security measures and access controls.
• Monitor performance, tune queries, and ensure high availability of databases.
• Apply IAVA patches and coordinate system updates.
• Support Oracle Streams replication and data synchronization tasks.
• Recommend database design practices to optimize system performance.
