Job summary

Lumen is seeking an Operations Technician II to support PSCC customers, applying strong technical skills in network troubleshooting, isolation, and maintenance from a remote setting within the United States.

The role covers 24/7 operations with swing and mid shifts; candidates must reside in the U.S. and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. On-care rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; minimum 3+ years in related field.
• Strong technical skills in network systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with DWDM transport equipment and monitoring systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports Network Operations Center and Repair activities for PSCC customers.
• Resolves complex network problems involving hardware, fiber, colo space and power.
• Uses software/hardware tools to diagnose network, hardware, and software issues; performs monitoring and maintenance.
• Communicates with customers via Ticket System, Phone, Email, and IM/Chat; documents actions.
