Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Operations Supervisor for Commercial Lines to lead Account Management staff, drive process excellence, and oversee a book of business. The role supports remote work within the Southeastern US with on-site needs at times, and aims to strengthen service, performance, and client relationships across our branch network.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in insurance brokerage or 7+ years in related sales/relationship roles, active licensing, and strong MS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience or 7+ years in sales/marketing/relationship management.
• Active insurance license required.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards.
• Lead Account Management staff and provide coaching.
• Oversee HR policies and processes.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing and onboarding.
• Deliver evaluations and maintain communication with leadership.
• Assign and balance workloads to ensure service continuity.
• Implement and enforce processes and best practices.
• Monitor performance data and take action as needed.
• Maintain accurate data across agency and carrier systems.
• Manage an assigned book of business.
• Serve as SME for coverage and service questions.
• Support renewals and new business processes.
