Insurance Office of America is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Commercial Lines to lead the branch's Account Management team and ensure service excellence across the book of business, guiding performance and compliance.

You will develop staff, manage workflow, coordinate policy administration, placement, billing and renewals, and nurture client relationships while driving process improvements and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years in sales/marketing/relationship management.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing is required; professional designations are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards.
• Lead Account Management staff and provide coaching.
• Ensure HR policy compliance and onboarding.
• Support staff development and succession planning.
• Oversee policy administration, placement, billing, and renewals.
• Manage an assigned book of business and client relationships.
• Serve as SME for coverage and service questions.
• Deliver evaluations and maintain transparency with leadership.
