Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Operations Supervisor for Commercial Lines to provide direct leadership and day-to-day oversight of Account Management staff across the branch. You will guide team performance, ensure adherence to processes, and support staff development while managing an assigned book of business.

The role requires 5+ years in the industry (or 7+ years in related fields), active insurance licensing, and strong analytical and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years of sales, marketing or relationship management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required.
• Professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards.
• Lead Account Management staff and provide coaching and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and processes.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff.
• Manage an assigned book of business and renewals, ensuring service excellence.
• Maintain accurate data across agency and carrier systems.
