Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Commercial Lines to lead Account Management staff and oversee day-to-day operations for a growing book of business. The role emphasizes service excellence, process improvement, and staff development in a remote-first environment with optional on-site support in the Florida market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years in sales, marketing or relationship management.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing is required.
• Professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Account Management staff and guide performance.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and processes.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards.
• Balance workloads to ensure service continuity.
