Our client, a rapidly expanding logistics and distribution company, is seeking a highly experienced and strategically-minded Remote Operations Manager. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa, while overseeing critical operational functions for their extensive network. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing distribution processes, managing supply chain logistics, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations across multiple locations, with a significant presence in the Randburg, Gauteng area. You will leverage technology and data analytics to drive performance improvements, manage costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience in budget management and cost control.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including MS Office Suite and specialized logistics platforms.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a remote work environment.
• Demonstrated experience in optimizing distribution networks and improving operational efficiency.
• Must be comfortable supporting operations in areas such as Randburg, Gauteng , despite the remote nature of the role.
