About the Role

Our client, a leading national logistics provider, is seeking an experienced and innovative Warehouse Systems Analyst to join their expanding, fully remote technology division. This role is instrumental in optimizing the performance and functionality of our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related technologies across all operational sites. You will be responsible for analyzing system data, identifying areas for improvement, developing system enhancements, and providing remote support to operational teams. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical aptitude, a deep understanding of WMS functionalities and warehouse operations, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current WMS configurations and operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
• Design, develop, and implement system improvements and new features to optimize warehouse performance, accuracy, and throughput.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for WMS-related issues, working closely with site operations teams.
• Collaborate with software vendors and internal IT teams to test and deploy system upgrades and new functionalities.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides, process flows, and training materials.
• Generate regular reports on system performance, inventory accuracy, and operational KPIs using WMS data.
• Conduct training sessions for warehouse staff on system usage and best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in warehouse automation and WMS solutions.
• Participate in the selection and implementation of new warehouse technology solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the WMS environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Warehouse Systems Analyst role, with a strong focus on WMS implementation, configuration, and support.
• Proven experience with major WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM).
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with system integration and API development is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a remote environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in South Africa and comfortable working full-time remotely.
