Job summary
Canonical is seeking a Software Alliances professional to collaborate with product, engineering, alliance and marketing teams to align on open-source strategies and drive adoption across alliance accounts. You will capture partner requirements, identify opportunities, and coordinate go-to-market content and launches.
The role is remote, supports Americas or EMEA regions, and involves travel up to 25% to attend conferences and meet partners.
Qualifications
- Experience in software development and system architecture.
- Customer-facing experience in software engineering, product management, business development or technology strategy.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, engineering, alliance and marketing teams to align on open-source strategies.
- Capture partner requirements, evaluate gaps, and identify Canonical opportunities.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams on messaging, content creation, and launch plans.
- Create partner- and customer-facing materials like reference architectures, joint blueprints, webinars, and white papers.
- Drive Ubuntu adoption within alliance accounts and enable partner teams.
