Job summary

Canonical is seeking a Software Alliances professional to drive joint product roadmaps and go-to-market plans with partner teams across the Americas and EMEA. You will capture partner requirements, craft reference architectures and enablement content, and help accelerate Ubuntu adoption in alliance accounts.

Ideal candidates have a background in technology, engineering or product management, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across global teams in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Background in technology, engineering, or product management.
• Experience with partner ecosystems and open-source environments is desirable.
• Excellent communication across all stakeholder levels and ability to synthesize complex material.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, engineering, alliance and marketing teams across partners to align on open-source strategies.
• Capture partner requirements, evaluate gaps, and identify Canonical opportunities.
• Coordinate messaging, content creation, and launch plans with marketing and product teams.
• Create partner- and customer-facing materials like reference architectures and white papers.
• Drive Ubuntu adoption within alliance accounts and enable partner development and delivery teams.
• Influence alliance partners to build with Canonical technology.
• Travel up to 25% for internal conferences and partnerships.
