Job summary

Retail Tech Inc. seeks a Desktop Support Technician to assist with the support, management, and maintenance of all technology across the organization. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, install and upgrade devices, and manage user accounts for essential systems.

With 200+ end users nationwide, this role requires clear communication, documentation, and the ability to work with IT managers on security and process improvements. Some travel to nearby offices is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related technical experience.
• Associate degree in technology-related studies.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to office and remote users while educating them in non-technical terms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Repair, upgrade, and install workstations, phones, monitors, etc.
• Create and manage user accounts for all required applications and systems.
• Write configuration and knowledge documents to build on standard processes and procedures.
• Manage all inventory.
• Report daily or weekly to the IT Manager with task and project updates, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with end users and other management.
• Participate in meetings for technology planning, updates, etc.
