Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide local and remote Level 1 support for employees around the world. You will install, modify, and repair hardware and software, manage IT infrastructure, and maintain video conferencing systems on both office and user devices.

The role requires 3–5 years’ experience, strong knowledge of Apple and Windows OS, and proficiency with SaaS tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Zoom, and GitHub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology field or equivalent on-the-job training.
• 3–5 years of experience as an IT support specialist.
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and both Apple + Windows OS.
• Comfortable with SaaS apps like Okta, Google Workspace, Zoom, GitHub, and more.
• Strong problem-solving and end-user training abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide local and remote Level 1 support for employees worldwide.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software as needed.
• Manage local IT infrastructure and inventory, ensuring up time.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Video Conferencing systems in-office and on user devices.
• Troubleshoot SaaS systems including Okta, Google Workspace, Zoom, GitHub, etc.
• Resolve staff tickets and document recurring issues.
• Document run books for implemented systems.
• Support both Apple and Microsoft operating systems.
• Test components to maintain system functionality and capacity.
